WELCOME TO THE TOWN OF POMPEY, a LARGE part of Onondaga County, 66.5 square miles. We are the highest inhabited spot in the county. We offer quiet solitude and spaciousness, natural beauty and a rich historical heritage, having celebrated our 200th Anniversary in 1994. Everyone wants trees in his back yard and a creek running nearby, and we have plenty of both!

We have many recreation spots within the boundaries of Our Town, summer and winter. These include two golf courses; Delphi Golf Course and Pompey Hills Golf Course, also noted for its swim team. Pratts Falls Park and Camp Brockway are Onondaga County Parks which provide picnic facilities for large and small groups, cross country skiing and hiking, as does nearby Highland Park. Several other county and state parks are close by, including Jamesville Beach for swimming and Green Lakes State Park with its swimming and camping facilities. Cazenovia Lake offers boating and fishing. If it’s skiing you prefer, Toggenberg, Labrador and Song Mountain Ski Centers are all within twenty minutes of HOME.

Earthday Clean-upMinimize

Pompey Pines held its annual Earth Day neighborhood clean up on April 13.
We participated in the OCCRA weekend observance. Our major objective each
year is to pick up trash along Pompey Center Road. This year we had
neighbors cleaning up both sides of the road! We had a bigger turnout
than ever and many parents brought their children to help. In other news,
the Preserve and Pompey Pines will be holding its first ever JOINT
multi-family garage sale on Saturday, June 1st. Submitted By: Florence
